(Bid Pricing Analyst)
We are now searching for an experienced and self-starting Bid Pricing Analyst, dedicated to DELL Public Sector business development. The position is based in Sweden at our Headquarters in Upplands Väsby and you will work alongside with the segments Channel controller.
The purpose of the job:
As BPA you are responsible for providing Pricing expertise on large deals for DELL Sweden Public Sector segment. Your principal duties and responsibilities include:
• Define Pricing & Sales Strategies that are in line with Dell's Business objectives and cost structure
• Analyze Margin, Pricing, Terms and Conditions
• Validate Responses to Bid Tenders and propose improvements that increase Win Probability
• Be the "Effective" liaison between local/EMEA Finance and Marketing/Operations/Sales for all Bid Pricing Approvals
• Identify ways of maximizing profits; find opportunities that improve margins and optimize Business Case
• Analyze costs and their trends and use conclusions proactively in communication with Sales
• Use in the most efficient way all competitor and IT market Data and use these elements to increase Win Probability
• Acquire in-depth knowledge about local players, understand their strategies and products and use this information in all Bid situations
Your profile:
The role requires a strong self-starter profile with at least 3 years relevant experience in pricing in marketing or finance in a technology or financial company.
• University Degree in Engineering/Finance/Marketing
• Fluency in Swedish and English is mandatory and another European language is desirable.
• Interest in IT products and market
Personal Skills:
The role places high demand on accuracy and attention to detail and deadlines. As you will report to a manager outside of Sweden it is vital that you are able to function in a remote management structure. Strong communication, relationship and negotiation skills are a requirement.
