Responsibilities
The Database Administrator?s main responsibilities are to ensure that our customer can provide the service at the committed service level and ensure that performance and availability of the databases meet the requirements for both customers and internal usage. We deliver services to companies worldwide with high requirements on uptime and throughput of the systems. This offers the DBA a challenging and varied job with good opportunities for development. The Database Administrator also supports other parts of the organization in R&D projects or when expertise is needed for particular assignments.

Profile
• MSc. or other academic degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 3-5 years work experience as a DBA with Oracle
• Competence in MySql is preferred
• Broad technical knowledge in related fields, including support and programming (Java and others) is preferred
• Experience from working in a complex Linux/Unix environment is also required

Personal skills:
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Strong drive in initiating, executing and completing given work tasks
• Very good skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
• Good at multitasking
• Analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions from a series of events
• Able team worker
• Ability to work under pressure
