The selected consultant shall maintain the database servers, review the database setups and configurations and where possible find and propose areas for improvements
Required expertise of the consultant
The ideal consultant should have the following skills
Excellent experience working as DBA in MSSQL2005/2008
Excellent experience working with big databases (>100Gb)
Excellent experience in code review, e.g. for TSQL stored procedures.
Knowledge of HA (High Availability) and load balancing solutions
Experience working with database design and working together with a development team
Experience with GIS DB (ARC GIS)
Experience with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager Microsoft certifications on SQL Server are beneficial.
English speaking and writing skills.
Estimated timeframe from 01/02/2013 until 31/01/2014. Apply as soon as possible with an Europass CV, no later then 10/11 2012.
