hela Sverige We are looking for a dedicated and passionate manager to drive & develop the Data warehouse Platform services, helping SKF business enable their strategic targets. The role of the Data warehouse Platform Manager is to secure the operation, development and lifecycle management of SKF chosen Data warehouse/ Business Intelligence (BI) platform components. SKF has outsourced the operations and development why this role is to manage the supplier in the Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse platform area. You are responsible to have good insight in the platform architecture and technology to secure operations stability, also included are implementing solution, monitoring performance, improving the services, as well as aligning services with DW/BI Business & IT strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• DW Service owner ensuring an end-to-end delivery, including security and compliance
• Support SKF business in delivering their business goals & strategies, advising the SKF Business how to effectively use the services
• Responsible for BI/DW platform architecture
• Lifecycle Management
• Capacity management
• Financial responsibilities incl. budget, forecast etc.
• Supplier management ?Supplier coordination/collaboration
? Contract ownership (procurement in cooperation with IT sourcing)
? License incl. audit/compliance
? Operational meetings
• Continues Improvements ?Drive BI/DW platform initiatives
? Support other IT initiatives with DW architecture reviews
• Participate in and influence SKF DW/BI IT strategy
• Close cooperation with multiple stakeholders within SKF business and IT.
Job Requirements :
• Driven and passionate about working in the BI/DW area
• Team-player and highly self-motivated
• Skilled in communication in a highly international environment why fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory
• Financial and contractual experiences is an advantage
• At least 5 years' experience working with BI/DW platform components like Informatica, Cognos both web and client, databases (SQL Server, iSeries and Sybase IQ) and QlikView.
• Knowledge in SAP BI components like Business warehouse and Business objects is an advantage.
Key Experiences and knowledge:
• Master/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Senior experience in the BI/DW platform area
• Experience from IT change and project/program management is an advantage
• Working in an outsourcing environment is a major advantage
