About the job
We are today developing new IT platforms including core databases for Vessel Management and Installed Base which will be integrated with OneCRM - our newly implemented CRM system.
Today we have decentralized data steward processes with many local resources involved. With the replacement of the old platforms, we will create a centralized process with the goal of maintaining high data quality. The Data Steward will be crucial to drive this process together with colleagues around the world
Key tasks in this role will be to:
Creating, uploading, and governing master data based on external suppliers such as IHS and Clarkson.
Monitoring and analyzing master data: Identify changes in external updates
Flag and Communicate changes with main stakeholders (Business Units and Sales Companies)
Actively connect external data for relationships with defined Alfa Laval datapoints.
Work with Sales companies, Business Units and tools to increase quality in defined datapoints
Secure connections between vessel and Installed base for new vessels
Governing of data used in the Market share process

What you know
A relevant degree within IT/data systems/Finance or relevant Engineering background
Experience handling master data and data quality
Experience working in a global company
Experience of International shipping industry
