• Be part of a cross-functional team together with data scientists and subject matter experts to build anti-financial crime products

What is needed in this role:
• A desire to build reliable and transparent data scientific products, with experience including:
• knowledge of a programming language, preferably Python, and how it is used for data science
• application of established development practices to data science, for example version control, self-testing code and documentation
• collaboration within a team to discuss, design and develop pragmatic solutions
• prioritising simple and effective answers that deliver business needs
• production and maintenance of data science products
• working in an Agile team is meriting
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisations skills, including:
• story-telling and explaining the "Why?" for both technical and non-technical audiences
• connecting with stakeholders across the organisation to help them get the most out of data science
• interest in the bigger picture to help define and prioritize work from both technical and business perspectives
• Curiosity to learn and internalize industry best practices
• Experience working in a highly regulated sector; familiarity with Cloud technology; and a passion for DevOps principles and culture are considered meriting
