At Ivbar, we are moving forward in our development and making major investments in Sweden and abroad in our market and product development organisations. We are now looking for a Data Scientist who loves large amounts of data, algorithms and working with data analysis.

Ivbar we are developing products used for Advanced Analytics and management of Advanced Payment models. Our mission is to revolutionise healthcare by giving medical professionals easy-to-use tools to analyse data, share insights and thereby understand and improve their performance and ensure financial incentives are aligned with patient needs. To make this possible, we combine software developers with experts in medicine, mathematics & data science, health economics, epidemiology, and healthcare management.

Your role as a Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist you will work with develop methodology and technology for advanced analytics applied to healthcare data. You will develop and apply machine learning techniques, such as prediction algorithms and pattern recognition, perform large-scale data management for medical data, e.g., resource usage, outcomes, and socioeconomic factors and develop metrics to shape and enhance the features and UX to better serve our users needs.

You will work together in a team with other Analysts and Data Scientists where we share knowledge and experience, help each other solve problems and explore new ways of thinking about our data. It is a great opportunity to play an important role in our fast-growing organisation and develop towards a role as an expert.

Your skills and qualifications

You have a relevant university degree, M. Sc., within physics, statistics, mathematics or similar and are at the beginning of your career. You have experience within algorithms, applied mathematical statistics and/or machine learning from your education or previous work and has experience from data modelling in Python, R, Matlab (or similar) and object oriented programming. Experience of data visualisation and exploration tools like Tableau, QlikView or Superset is also of interest.

You are intellectually curious, have good analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems. You are self-driven, committed and a team player who thrives working as part of a team to achieve success.
