About the job:
As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in analyzing complex datasets, deriving meaningful insights, and contributing to data-driven decision-making processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to solve challenging problems and provide data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities:
Apply advanced statistical and predictive modeling techniques to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights.
Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models to solve business problems and optimize processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, gather requirements, and design appropriate data experiments.
Clean, validate, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Build and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure for efficient data processing and analysis.
Visualize data and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and relevant technologies, and identify opportunities for their application within the organization.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or a related role.
Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and experience with libraries/frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex business problems with limited supervision.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. A Ph.D. in a relevant field is a plus.
