About the role
As Aimo Parks new Data Scientist you will monitor and analyze the data. You need to understand the business needs to pursue data usage and identify new data for business improvement. You will facilitate the communication between the business and IT when it comes to data analysis. As Data Scientist you will collect, link and transform data and also explore existing/new data to identify requirements and insights. It's important with an understanding of large amounts of data to solve different business problems and build proofs-of-concept. You will develop algorithms based on machine learning or artificial intelligence and be responsible for the interfaces with the backend systems and the integration platforms.
In your team you will have a UX/UI designer and fullstack developer by your side, and together you will work closely with other teams and units within the company depending on what solution you are currently drawing up.

About you
To flourish in this role, we see that you have
• A degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent
• Experience in data modeling, data storage/lake design and database management
• Experience in advanced analytical techniques that describe statistics, machine learning, optimization, cluster analysis and segmentation analysis
• Experience in backend programming, for example in Python, C# or Rust
• Experience working with machine learning
It's a plus if you have
• Worked in a startup or medium-sized company
• Worked in various projects and deployed machine learning algorithms
• Experience in working with consumer-related data
• Experience working with Tensor Flow, Hadoop, Kafka and/or Spark
As a person, you are communicative and are used to work independently. You need to be innovative and feel secure in coming up with new ideas and also implement these.
