THE OATLY WAY

We are the world's original and largest oat drink company. For over 25 years, we have exclusively focused on developing expertise around oats: a global power crop with inherent properties suited for sustainability and human health. Our commitment to oats has resulted in core technical advancements that enabled us to unlock the breadth of the dairy portfolio, including alternatives to milks, ice cream, yogurt, cooking creams, and spreads. Headquartered in Malmö, Sweden, the Oatly brand is available in more than 20 countries globally.

THAT'S WHERE YOU COME IN

You?? Yes! You. Our Business Technology department needs your data privacy skills. The sustainability revolution isn't going to happen by itself, we need all the help we can get. So if making the world a more sustainable place and trying to avert climate catastrophe is the kind of thing that gets you up in the morning, then read on!

As a Data Privacy Manager your mission will be to standardize data privacy, including related information security and compliance aspects by establishing a Corporate privacy and security by design and by default program.

You will work cross-functional and global, in close collaboration with the regions, Legal, Internal Audit, Compliance and CIO. You will be based at Malmö HQ and report to Information & Cyber Security Director.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

This is a wonderful opportunity for a Data Privacy Manager to get in the game and act as a source of inspiration about data privacy for the organization.

As Data Privacy Manager you will:

• Lead the execution of global privacy policy, guidelines and overall privacy program.
• Act as point of escalation for privacy risks obligations and best practice protection measures.
• Facilitate risk and impact assessments and evaluate risks.
• Monitor top risks.
• Align privacy incident management processes, including data breach notification, to general incident management.
• Take ownership and drive the privacy and security by design and by default processes.
• Establish standardized internal controls in a hygiene baseline, covering main
design privacy and security related risk management processes and guardrails, including risk tolerance, escalation and reporting.
• Support the planning and execution of compliance work.

But, you know. These are just the things we can think of right now! This might be the job today, but tomorrow brings more change, so being light on your feet and willing to embrace the unknown is a verrrrrry big help.

YOU, YOU, YOU

You are a curious and communicative professional with an agile mindset. We believe that you enjoy collaboration, working cross-functional and staying in contact with a broad network of colleagues and stakeholders, all over the globe. In you we believe we will find a structured problem-solver with a great drive.

You are thinking about the big picture, rather than the job description bullet points, and are prioritizing doing things for real rather than creating a perfect plan that never sees the light of day (even it is a very pretty plan).

We think your oatsomeness is built upon..

• 5+ years of job specific experience in global privacy/legal or security unit (maybe as an Officer, Specialist, leader or similar).
• A Bachelor of legal studies, computer science or similar.
• Experience from Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), including risk register and data catalogue.
• Experience from establishing new processes or improving existing ones (e.g. data subject rights and privacy by design).
• Knowledge of agile ways of working.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Swedish.

Bonus points if you have...

• Certificates: CIPP/E, CIPM or CDPSE
• Project Management skills

Finally, we hope that you share our values and have a great interest to carry out our mission in order to make the world a little bit better.

JOIN US!
