hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Agile Search i Stockholm We are recruiting Junior and Senior Data Engineers to join our Operations & Analytics team and help drive a data-first culture across Volvo Car Mobility.
As a Data Engineer, your mission is to transform data into a useful format for analysis so that together with our Data Scientists we get a deep understanding of our customers, product, operations, our cars and the hardware.
Your responsibilities will include but won't be limited to:
- Evaluating, developing, testing and maintaining data capture, storage and processing systems (databases, pipelines and large-scale processing systems)
- Working proactively with data quality and reliability.
- Employing languages and tools to marry systems together or try to hunt down opportunities to acquire new data from other systems so that the system-specific codes, for example, can become information in further processing by data scientists
- Ensuring that the architecture that is in place supports the requirements of the data scientists, any stakeholders and the business as a whole.
- Developing the tools and processes around modelling, mining, and understanding a model's behaviour in production
To catch our eye you show some of the following:
- 1 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- A degree in computer science, computer engineering, or similar engineering discipline
- Experience in developing software for data processing pipelines; spark, hadoop, Apache Flink/BEAM, or Kubernetes
- Comfortable user of SQL and python, some experience from java or similar backend language
- Previous experience from architecting distributed systems and data stores in cloud environments
- Previous experience in Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) development
- Collaboration skills working with data science teams and building the right solutions for them
