• Providing clients with Fundamental Data relating to publicly trading companies on all European, Middle East and African Stock Exchanges
• Keeping abreast of daily market activity and ensure information is updated in a timely manner for Thomson Reuters Data customers
• Liaising directly with other teams within the Company Information on a regular basis
• Maintaining timeliness, accuracy and completeness of information
• Assisting Fundamental Data counterparts in Poland, India, Singapore, China and US
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Process data and apply in an accurate manner to the database using technical and financial knowledge to add value
• Take responsibility for data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness
• Be proactive to identify and resolve problems
• Research and analysis of production process to promote continuous improvement
• Use appropriate language skills to understand and source financial information
• Build up knowledge of financial regulations and market practices in the Europe, Middle East and Africa
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Seek efficiencies in work practices to achieve automation
• Ensure timely and complete resolution of queries from internal and external clients
• Liaise with Thomson Reuters Data customers and third party data suppliers
• Support future training of new members of staff
• Use language skills to build relationships with overseas market contacts
• Extensive in-house training will be given
QUALIFICATIONS
• Four-year college/university degree Preferable
• Fluent English and any Scandinavian language
• Preferred knowledge of financial markets/economic data

• Good numeric skills
• Detail conscious and can spot anomalies
• Results-oriented and target-driven approach
• Self motivated even when attending to routine tasks
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Ability to follow company best practices
• Knowledge or experience of working in the financial markets, and an in-depth knowledge of own markets
• Good PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Internet
