About the role
In the Insights team, our mission is to turn terabytes of data into insights and get a deep understanding of how user use and would like to use our market place and what drives second hand consumerism. You will study user behavior, strategic initiatives, markets, content, and new features and bring data and insights into every decision we make. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experience' second hand shopping.

What You'll Do
Perform analyses on large sets of data to extract actionable insights that will help drive decisions across the business
Communicate data driven insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
Work closely with cross functional teams of analysts, product owners, marketers, designers, and others across the company who are passionate about Blocket and the second hand market and sustainability work.
Engage with the data community at SPT (Schibsted Products & Technology)
Take an active part in evangelizing a data driven mindset within the organization.

You will be a part of the Blocket Insight team, a line-up with 2 Data Engineers and 3 Data Analysts and report to the Insight lead.
Since we are a pretty local business, some degree of knowledge in the Swedish (or another Scandinavian) language is highly desirable. You will work in our office in central Stockholm.

Who You Are
You have at least 3+ years of experience in a similar data analyst role and a degree in science, computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline.
You have a deep understanding of numbers, as well as a strong business sense.
You have the technical competence to perform more advanced analytics.

More Specifically...
You have experience of visualization tools (such as Tableau, QlickView, Redash or similar)
You have experience and skill in SQL
You are a communicative person that values building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
You have the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms
•
It's a bonus if you...
Have experience of analytics tools experience (such as Pandas or R Studio)
Experience performing analysis with large datasets
Have experience of Web Analytics
Are capable of tackling very loosely defined problems. ?
