We, at Enterprise IT Security, are on a mission to secure the IT journey for the Volvo Group. We work closely together with stakeholders across several Business Areas (BAs), Truck Divisions (TDs), and Group Functions (GFs). While the BAs are responsible for driving the business, the TDs provide research, development, purchasing, manufacturing, and assembly. Within Volvo Group, the GFs own the Group agenda, provide strategic direction, and have global responsibility in group-wide functions such as IT, legal, compliance and security.

With Enterprise IT Security, you will be part of Group Digital & IT (Group Function). A global and diverse team of highly skilled professionals who work with passion, trust each other, and embrace change to stay ahead. Enterprise IT Security works in close collaboration with both Group Security function and security functions within TD's, BAs and GFs. Together we work to build a security posture that is best in class.

Role Description:

The role reports directly to the Head of Cyber Resilience and Problem Management, and supports the organization by being actively engaged in the identification, assessment and remediation of IT and OT related business continuity items, cyber problems, issues, threats and risks.

Cyber Business Continuity Specialist role includes:
BCM Program governance framework: Strategy, plan, build, run and manage the Volvo Group Cyber BCM program governance framework. Program status benchmarking and maturity assessment.
BCM Program operating framework: Plan, build, run and manage enterprise wide BCM program framework in collaborate with Business Continuity functions.
Facilitate the development of the BCM program disciplines that address the response, recovery, restoration, and resilience needs of the entire enterprise as defined by the BIA.
Facilitate the development and delivery of a testing exercising, maintenance and ongoing improvement program of the response, recovery and restoration strategies and plans to ensure that Volvo Group can effectively respond, manage, and recover from major disruptions because of a broad range of current, emerging or newly recognized threats.
Manage the enterprise's response, recovery, and restoration activities in the face of an actual disaster.
Work across each of the internal and external organizations to ensure the success and effectiveness of the BCM program, including board of directors/regents, executive management, BCM executive steering committee, enterprise risk management committee, enterprise operations management committee, line of business/departmental managers, business-unit BCM program coordinators, IT, human resources, legal/compliance, audit, cybersecurity, physical security, facilities management, suppliers/third parties and business partners, government agencies/national security/first responders, utilities, insurance firms, regulators, and the media.
Support the wider capabilities within Cyber Resilience and Problem Management team.

Critical Competencies:
Good communication, presentation, organization and writing skills
Process design, KPI development and risk management
A thorough understanding of the strategic importance of the alignment of BCM initiatives with Volvo Group essential business and IT services.
Demonstrable working knowledge of BCM, disaster recovery, crisis management, and supplier risk and contingency strategies and solutions.
Understanding of and experience in applying DRI International (DRII) Professional Practices or Business Continuity Institute (BCI) Good Practice Guidelines, as well as industry-specific regulations and regulatory bodies
Ability to analyze detailed technical data to abstract relevant business information
Ability to establish and maintain good relations and trust with your internal and external partners/stakeholders
Willingness to learn, know and understand Volvo Group security policies, directives and requirements

Desired Education and Experience:
10+ years' experience in IT Operations, Security & Development or,
5+ experience in successfully planning, implementing, and sustaining BCM, disaster recovery and crisis management programs.
Affinity to find solutions for cyber threat counter measures
Domain-specific certifications (e.g., Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP), Fellow Business Continuity Institute (FBCI), Member Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), and/or NIMS/ICS certification) would be an advantage
