TeliaSonera International Carrier (TSIC) is one of the world’s leading providers of network infrastructure and services – empowering individuals, businesses and societies to execute their most critical activities.

Customer Service Center is TSIC’s single point of contact regarding service incidents, billing and sales inquiries from customers such as operators, service and content providers as well as other large-scale user’s world-wide. We own and drive customer issues to resolution while keeping an open channel of communication with customers during on-going incidents. Customer Service Center is a first line technical customer support with strong business acumen and customer focus. Our ambition is to deliver a world-class customer experience by focusing on quick resolution, when needed involving our second line units, and providing continuous updates about the resolution progress. Employees are required to be scheduled on a rolling basis for shift work covering 24/7/365. Single shifts and on-call duty can occur.

Key responsibilities

• Register customer incidents (by telephone, e-mail, web interface)
• Perform initial analysis/trouble shooting
• Interact with our interfacing units to ensure incident resolution progress and valuable updates
• Keeping the customer updated about the incident progress throughout the incident life cycle
• Maintain ownership of cases handed over to others for resolution, meaning making sure we keep our promise to our customers in terms of updates, resolution times etc.
• Write reports to customers upon request
• Log all actions taken and contacts with customers in the appropriate systems
• Contribute to the fulfilment of the team via knowledge sharing
• Update routines and work instructions
• Exemplify the company values & code of ethics in the daily workflow

Qualifications and skills needed

• University degree from a technical university, preferably within network engineering or similar or a very high technical knowledge within the same.
• Fluent English skills (written and spoken) on a technical & professional level
• Good abilities of being able to communicate over telephone and in writing
• Experience of working in an international environment is meriting
• Knowledge, experience and understanding within the Telecom industry

Cisco/Juniper certifications are meriting

Please note, that this is a temporary position until January 2017.

Working hours:The work will continuously be on shift list 24/7/365, single shifts and on call duty might occur
