hela Sverige You will daily be handling a variation of tasks within freight forwarding and always ensure a best in class experience for our customers.
In the Ocean freight department we handle import and export related customer service tasks with daily contact with customers, suppliers and other relevant stakeholders. We coordinate with colleagues globally (origin and/or destination countries) to ensure that all shipments are duly prepared for arrival.
Amongst other you will:
• Coordinate shipment pre advice as per routine
• Ensure a customer profitability overview
• Be responsible for cross sell/up sell towards your assigned customer portfolio
• Work with improving routines and our procedures in a lean organization
• Coordinate operational tasks together with our Global Service Center
We believe the candidate we are searching for have:
• Previous experience in a Customer service / Operations team within the logistics sector working with import and export
• Ability to plan, prioritize and have a flexible approach
• Problem solving skills
• The ability to handle a large workload without compromising the cooperation with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders.
• A creative mind-set and being adaptable to change.
• Professional attitude
• Good communication skills
• Well organized and ability to be a true team-player
• Deliver on set targets with the customer in focus
• SAP knowledge is preferable
• Good knowledge in MS Excel
• A high proficiency in spoken and written Swedish and English
• A university degree within logistics or similar educational background within freight forwarding is an advantage.
We are looking for a new member to our Customer Service team that is responsible for our Ocean freight department. We are working to build a long-term cooperation and relationship with our customers, where we as a professional partner in transportation, logistics and freight forwarding perform our delivery towards the customer with the highest quality.
We offer you a challenging position within the Freight forwarding industry. You will get the opportunity to work in an international environment in an industry that is constantly changing and under development. You will get the opportunity to develop your freight forwarding skills.
This is a temporary position to cover for a parental leave. Start date is May 2017 until mid January 2018. For the right person this could potentially lead to an extension or a permanent employment with Damco and the Maersk group.
