As creative pattern maker at Acne Studios you are an important part of the product development together with the design and production team. Your responsibility is to deliver high quality patterns and create the perfect fit within the product group/s that you work with. We are looking for a person who have excellent technical skills in fluid and tailored garments, understands the fashion process and has a passion for creative pattern making with experimental solutions.
The work environment at Acne Studios is fast-paced and energetic; no day is ever the same. You will be based at Acne Studios headquarters in Stockholm and report to the Head of Pattern/Atelier.
Tasks will include but not be limited to:
• Pattern making
• Toile making
• Fittings
• Collection and production fittings
• Regular communication with product developers, designers, technical designers, internal atelier and external suppliers.
• Deliver high quality patterns to our suppliers
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 5 years experience as a pattern maker in a high end fashion brand
• Educated/ experienced in working with CAD in Geber/Lectra or a similar system
• A good command of the English technical terms and experienced in communicating / working in English
• Be flexible, structured and precise
• Familiar with the entire product development process from concept to finished product
• Good understanding of the specificities of a creative environment, respect tight deadlines and enjoy working in a fast paced environment
