Butlr is an ambitious startup with a big and clear vision. We?re building a p2p marketplace for services and we?re aiming to release our product before this summer. To achieve this goal we need a great front end web developer to join our team. As a Front-end Developer you?ll be bringing the latest techniques to all our properties, making sure it?s usable as well as functional.
Your role:
You will help the team in developing new features, writing the HTML and CSS to make it work cross-browser/ platform, making sure layouts work well and load fast. You can bend JavaScript, CSS and HTML to your will, think out-of-the-box and as through the eyes of the user. You will work with the team to design interactions and features that our users didn?t even know they should be asking for.
About you:
• You have at least 2+ years solid experience in web development
• You are experienced in JavaScript, HTML, CSS standards and understand basic PHP
• You are up-to-date with the latest HTML5 and CSS3 techniques
• Able to interface easily with restful services
• You have knowledge of version control (preferably Git)
• You know what a MVC model is and how it works
• You live in Gothenburg
• You are able to work independently with little supervision
Qualification requirements (must have):
Design skills, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, PHP, English.
Additional qualifications (nice to have):
Bootstrap, CodeIgniter, iOS, Android, REST.
