We are based and have our office in Solna (Stockholm), but we?re also out traveling a lot. The Kennel works with record labels and artists all over the world and our biggest market is definitely Asia.
We are looking for an assistant to help our creative department . As Creative A&R Assistant you will be responsible for the administration and structure of our song-catalogue but also to be the link between our A&R team and its clients.
The employment is a part-time job (50%) and we want you to start immediately .
Responsibilities and duties:
• Receiving songs and cataloging new works from our composers
• Advices and developments for our composers
• Have a comprehensive overview of the catalogue's complete works to pitch/recommend compositions by clients requests
• Responsible for updates on our website and other social medias
• Having contacts with the record labels, managements and artists
• An important networking and relationship-building function
• Represent us at music fairs, events and on sales tours.
Requirements and qualifications :
• Experience in the music industry and its various working areas is a requirement
• Excellent ability to express yourself in written and spoken English as our companys language is english
• Experience and ability to analyze the composition of the different parts of lyrics, melody and production.
• An already established network of record company people, managers , music publishers, artists , songwriters , musicians and producers is an advantage.
• Own experience of composing or artistry is meritorious. Especially if it?s on an international level.
