In Hitachi Energy, Grid Automation we are the world leader in our business area. For this team we are looking for a senior sales focused leader to head our sales team in Sweden. In this role you will be part of the North European sales management team as well local management team in Sweden. You will be responsible for the activities of your team to enhance sales, marketing and business development for the local market. Your team will expect you to lead from the front and to support them in growing business.
For this position we are not looking for a typical manager but a true leader who is an excellent team player and able to walk the talk. You are willing to dive into day-to-day activities when it is needed, and not be afraid to take calculated risks and push for finding new ways of supporting our customers, partners and team members around Sweden, Scandinavia and Europe.
Your responsibilities
Lead the implementation of Hitachi Energy's strategies and initiatives at a country level to ensure appropriate sales and marketing efforts within the country
Work as a team member with the North European sales management team to develop the business and adapt best practices for the European, Scandinavian and Swedish markets
Ensure the Hitachi Energy 's product, system and service portfolios are widely represented in the local market
Manage the demand side budget of the Country
Develop business strategies and sales and marketing plans in partnership with North European sales and local sales teams
Participate in the budgeting process and prepare the local demand budget
Oversee the market intelligence ensuring the transparency on the market drivers and trends, key competition, and emerging technologies
In line with the sales team strategy manage and develop appropriate relationships with customers and key accounts
Serve as escalation point for questions and issues, and collect customer feedback and inputs
Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed
Coach, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates
Drive and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration within the whole European hub

Your background
Proven experience in customer-facing sales activities; sales management and knowledge of the local market
Solid leadership skills and ability to make decisions
Solid influencing and networking skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Ability to synthetize complex or ambiguous issues into simple and clear statements
Self-motivated, driven self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for sales
Technical understanding of grid automation products and solutions is an advantage
Analytical and financial skills to perform market analysis and prepare business plans
Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
