Job description:
Setting up and maintaining pharmacovigilance systems::
• Monitor and provide feed back on ICSR reporting from countries in the WHO Programme
• Assist member countries in their use of tools and services, including gathering suggestions for further development
• Provide training to member countries, including training on methods and tools
• ICSR management
• Maintain country support SOPs
• Identify stakeholders needing the clients services and thus contributing to safeguarding patients in the use of medicines globally
Product support:
• Support development of technical solutions
• Participate in acceptance testing to ensure that requirements for success have been fulfilled
Other tasks and assignments:
• Participate in training activities; attend and present at relevant conferences conferences and meetings

• Preferably BSc or MSc
• Preferably more than 3 years of working experience
• You shall have good knowledge of pharmaceutical products and medical terminologies
• You shall have experience in data management and database knowledge evaluation of safety data and the preparation of safety reports
• Experience in Medical Reviewing
• English-fluent in written and oral
• Chinese, Spanish, French, Russian or Arabic fluent in written and oral
And you should also have knowledge in ICH-E2B as well as acquainted with contents of applicable regulations. It is an advantage if you have experience from the Pharmaceutical Industry, in particular Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance.
It is of importance that you are a team player, self-driven and that you are open-minded. It is also crucial that you are flexible and have excellent communication skills. You shall also be able to follow guidelines and have the ability to apply innovation in the daily work.
We place great emphasis on personal fitness for this position.
