Corporate Social Responsibility Manager to start in april 2019!

Sustainability is important for the future success of the company and Procurement has defined its Sustainability vision "We are buying for a better world by working with our business partners to increase the sustainability of our products and services, secure responsible and transparent value chains and to make efficient use of resources". The Procurement Sustainability team is now looking for Corporate Social Responsibility Manager. You will have the opportunity to be part of a team of experienced people and take on challenges in an exciting area. This is temporary assignment until end of Q1 2020.

What you 'll do

As a member of the Sustainability team you will be part of both strategic and operational work. With a focus on supply chain, you will take part in development and integration of sustainability in procurement business operations. We are engaged in cross functional work within Volvo Cars and participate also in external networks, automotive and other industry, in order develop best practices. Other parts of the role are to perform and coordinate sustainability trainings for Procurement employees' respective suppliers and to manage and coordinate supplier assessment including supplier improvements.

Do you fit the profile?

You have knowledge and experience of sustainability work, social responsibility and/or environment. You have audit competence and experience of performing audits, preferable at supplier sites. You are familiar with cross-functional, international work and with supplier relations.

We are looking for a person who is committed to sustainability and will contribute to our team with a positive attitude and high personal drive. You are a true team player but also highly confident in acting and taking decisions on your own. You have a good strategic and holistic view. Since you will have a lot of contact with different stakeholders, it is important that you have good communicative skills and feel comfortable in communicating with people from different environments, cultures and managerial levels.

Location for this position is Gothenburg, Sweden. We are a global company so you need to be proficient in English, oral and writing.
