Description of directorate/division

The Conventional Facilities division (CF) is responsible for designing, constructing and commissioning the buildings, the landscape and parts of the technical systems.

CF has been assigned to develop a plan for facility management and bridge over the period from when buildings are completed until Initial Operations start in 2019. Therefore, CF has established two entities in order to handle this period, a "CF Site Facility Management" group, within the construction organisation, and a "CF Pre-Ops Design" group. As CF finalizes the works within the CF scope building by building, thereby closing down CF design and construction for those parts, the CF Pre-Ops Design (CF POD) team shall take over and serve as the primary point of contact regarding buildings



Job description and responsibilities:

The CF QA/Requirements Engineer works with projects in buildings that have been constructed, where there are ongoing machine installations. The works are called for by the ESS parties responsible for the machine installations and are of varying size, urgency and complexity. The QA/Requirements Engineer has the following main tasks and responsibilities:

• Support the CF Pre-Ops Design team in its work, by providing expertise in quality assurance, management of requirements and documentation
• Ensure that CF Pre-Ops Design aligns with the agreed work processes and procedures and support the team in developing any new procedures, plans or guidelines needed
• Support the CF Pre-Ops Design Lead in following up and reporting the status of the team's work, as well as in identifying and implementing measures for improvement
• Coordinate CF Pre-Ops Design and other parties within ESS regarding quality-related issues

Required qualifications:

• MSc in relevant engineering field
• Minimum 3 years' experience of working with systems engineering
• Knowledge of and experience of working with quality assurance, management systems and documentation

Experience of working in an international environment is essential

Excellent oral and written English skills are a prerequisite; knowledge of other European languages would be an advantage

Duration & Location
The position is fixed term . Your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden.
