As an experienced Process Developer within Controlling, you will be part of the newly formed Controlling Development team and network. The team's responsibility is to focus on controlling and process development, to lead and develop as well as to govern and prioritize initiatives across the controlling community in close cooperation with the other finance functions. The team will also focus on automation of finance processes through robotics. In this role you will interact and collaborate with all our functional areas e.g. Product Development, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics and sales companies.
In your role, you will be part of taking the Finance organization into a modern organization, ready to meet the challenges ahead of us and work proactively with upcoming initiatives and projects. This work will provide a great opportunity to gain knowledge about Volvo Cars finance controlling processes and tools and further develop your leadership skills. Significant interaction and close cooperation cross all areas within Volvo Cars is required.
Main responsibilities
* Lead, prioritize and drive initiatives and projects within the controlling area towards leading practices and agreed efficiency improvement targets
* Lead and drive implementation for newly established companies, joint ventures and business models within the controlling area
* Drive change management incl. harmonization and standardization of the process and tools within scope
* Provide subject matter expertise and support in complex or critical activities related to controlling
* Develop standards, processes and operating procedures within the controlling area
* Lead and track projects and initiatives in a structured way and plan activities according to decided time frames
* Keep track of trends, latest news and external benchmark to drive continuous improvement and efficiency
Who are we looking for?
* University degree in Business Administration or equivalent with approximately 10 years relevant experience within controlling or project and program management
* Leadership experience in an international environment with skills to lead and influence through others, demonstrating the aspired leadership culture of Volvo Cars
* Holistic view and understanding of the business and the business strategies with a financial awareness and business acumen.
* Curious and eager to learn new things in a project focused environment under continuous development
* Proactive approach and a pragmatic and flexible mindset
* Excellent knowledge of the Finance processes in scope with the ability to add business value in daily operations both on high and detailed level.
* Highly developed analytical skills
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Fluent in English, verbally and written
