Positioning: This position reports into the Nordic Finance Director
Role Purpose: The Manager Business Services (MBS) is an advisor to the business within the cluster (group of sites) and supports the Director Commercial and Director Operations of the clusters in making decisions by providing them actionable insights.
Different functional domain areas supported by the MBS include financial analysis, human resources for the cluster's staff and transactional procurement.
The MSB understands the business of the cluster and knows the issues and challenges the Directors Operations and Commercial for the cluster face and contributes to its performance by providing analysis and insights from the different functional support teams.
The MSB is a true enabler for the business, with the aim of delivering an even better service to our customers.
At cluster level, responsibilities for the role will include but are not limited to:
Planning & Organizing: Responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating the support to the operations and commercial teams within the cluster. Act as a liaison between the operational and commercial cluster team and the sub-regional and global support teams.
Controlling: Perform and deliver product cost planning, analysis and reporting · Drive and deliver period end-closing analysis and reporting · Perform and deliver inventory accounting · Set up and deliver cluster budget and forecast
Human Resource Management: Responsible for attracting and retaining all non-managerial level roles in the cluster, managing recruitment for these roles and facilitate performance & talent management for people within the cluster · Responsible for new hire onboarding · Responsible for offboarding of employees upon departure · Manager recruitment and selection of contingent workers for the cluster · Develop and act upon engagement initiatives/activities · Deliver mandatory trainings · Support and facilitate the ongoing performance dialogue between employees and line managers within the cluster
Procurement: Oversee the generation of PO requests for the cluster · Resolve PO mismatches · Negotiate supplier contracts for and execute small value purchases · Handle master data change requests and contract changes · Be accountable for discipline in good receipts updates within the cluster
Continuous Improvement: Support the Directors clusters in developing and executing improvement initiatives with the aim to improve cluster performance
Compliance: Ensure E2E processes in the cluster are run in compliance with the globally defined E2E processes and operating model · Escalate compliance issues and risks identified to the director operations and director commercial cluster ·
About you: Ideally with a financial background, you are looking for a more influential and multi-functional role, as a true partner to an industrial multi-sites business. Commercially astute, you communicate and manage relationships well.
You have a strong understanding of site operations, supplier and client landscape, the ability to analyze financial data.
You also have a strong affinity with technology and quickly adapt to new technology tools and processes. You are familiar with budget planning and enforcement, human resources, procurement, operational and H&S processes and procedures.
You are a strong people manager, pro-active, able to work independently, as well as diplomatic and performance & action oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
And finally, you are hands-on and an expert at multi-tasking.
