By combining hydrofoils with carbon composites and an all-electric drive train, we reach a speed and range on par with combustion engine boats. Add to that an almost silent ride and unmatched smoothness in high waves. By this we establish a new category on the boat market. The interest has been overwhelming with several years of production already sold. All has been achieved by combining the most advanced concepts of material science, hydrodynamics and control theory. If you are someone who loves the very real impact you can make with technology and appreciate working in a close-knit, dedicated team, the role as Control System Engineer may be for you. The role includes:
• Dynamic modelling
• Sensor filtering and fusion
• Control algoritms
• Image processing
• Machine learning
• Route planning
We believe that a suitable candidate has a PhD in control theory or a related field, excellent academic records and at least 5 years of experience from post-doc research or work in a relevant industry. Proficiency in Python, Matlab and some sort of Machine learning package (e.g Tensorflow or Scikit-learn) is a great advantage. We recently moved to a large facility in Gåshaga, Lidingö where all Development, Sales, Marketing, Procurement and final assembly takes place.
