Continuous Improvement Specialist to Xylem, Stockholm or Oslo

The Role

The CI specialist is embedded in the Nordic Sales teams and partners closely with the business to identify and drive improvements, while also training and coaching colleagues on Lean Six Sigma tools and philosophy. The role has an exciting blend of strategic and operational content and will be instrumental in driving change to enable our continued success on the market. The role is also part of the Xylem CI community with access to Lean expert colleagues, best practices and learning resources.
Responsibilities:

* Partner with colleagues across the region to identify continuous Improvement opportunities and spread the Continuous Improvement (CI) culture to
• improve internal processes (both transactional and field service/rental - related)
• gain productivity
• create value for customers through process optimization
* Train and lead cross-functional project teams; driving measurable process improvements (service, cost, cash flow and lead time)
* Support and Facilitate Kaizen events and monitor and coordinate implementation of improvement actions
* Facilitate, train and coach colleagues in the use of Lean Six Sigma philosophy and tools to approach problems and projects
* Track improvements and results of CI projects and report progress through the monthly reporting routines
* Support the facilitation of the Region 's Strategic Goal Deployment Process (GDP) and participate as needed in Business Development Projects across the region

The role is placed at Xylems office in Stockholm or in Oslo, and you will report to the CI Manager Nordics. Flexibility to travel is a must since the role has a Nordic focus.
Is this you?

The right candidate for this role has a Bachelor 's degree in Engineering or Economics. You have minimum 5 years of work experience of which at least 2-3 years of continuous improvement experience with a good knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt/black Belt) required. Your experience includes exposure to sales and service operations/manufacturing related functions. Proven project management and leadership abilities in a matrix team environment is needed.
You have excellent command of Swedish or Norwegian and English. High Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) is essential for the role.

You need to be autonomous, flexible and results orientated while also inclusive and contributing to team spirit.
