Continuous Improvement (Lean) Coordinator is reporting directly to the Business System and Quality Director and is responsible for:
• Being the Company representative for Business System (Lean).
• Supporting the implementation of a Lean culture in the organization.
• Supporting production departments in the implementation of Total productive maintenance system to improve the reliability of the processes.
• Supporting production departments in defining standards and developing a system of standardized working practices.
• Supporting production departments with visual standards and visual operating procedures.
• Contributing to the development of a process to ensure a continuous activity of problem solving and root-cause analysis and being part of the resolution of problems related to product quality and customer complaints.
• Setting the lean targets and supporting the company in achieving them
• Establishing together with the Cast House a process of evaluation of a new product that is planned to be included in the mass production (PPAP process)
• Defining the budget of quality and non-quality costs and coordinating the activities to control it.
• Establishing a continuous monitoring system of the internal and external quality deliveries
• Coordinating the area activities to analyse deviation and implement counter measures and definitive solutions in place.
• Manage the claim administration process together with Sales Department and customers.
• Participating in visits and audits from Business System (Lean) Division
• Organize and participate in Business System (Lean) training
• Being responsible to complete the BS Business System (Lean) forms
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Experience in the similar position for at least 5 years
• University degree - Engineering preferred
• Experience in Lean system usage and implementation
• Swedish and English fluency
• Good communication skills
• Result-oriented
• Customer focus
• Ability to work in a team
• Problem solving and root cause analysis skills
• Coaching skills
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001 (is a must), ISO 14001 standards and IATF 16949 (preferable).
• Knowledge of core tools: PFMEA, SPC, QFD, MSA, PPAP, APQP, Block Chart and Flow chart (is a must).
Employment: 6 month's probation period followed by a permanent employment. Location: Sundsvall.
