hela Sverige You would work as a consultant on the worksite of one of our clients. The work tasks would involve different types of biological analysis and related tasks.
We are now looking for a bioanalyst for a consulting assignment with one of our clients. For this role we are looking for someone with the following skillset:
• Microbial Culture Techniques: Development and maintenance of fungal and bacterial suspension culture; production of secondary metabolites from microbial cells.
• Plant Tissue Culture Techniques: Development of callus, hairy root and suspension cultures; genetic transformation of plant cells; production of secondary metabolites from plant cell cultures.
• Bioreactor Analysis: development of novel bioreactor designs, Implementation of bioreactor cultivation strategies for plant and microbial cell systems (batch, fed-batch, continuous etc.).
• Analytical Techniques: Basic analytical techniques in biochemistry/Microbiology, Aseptic plant/microbial culture handling, column chromatography, Thin layer Chromatography, HPLC, Gas chromatography, Mass spectroscopy, Genomic DNA extraction, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), plasmid isolation, spectroscopic estimations.
• Miscellaneous: Mathematical modeling of growth and production in plant and microbial systems, Planning, establishment and supervision of research operations, Research proposal writing.
• Computer skills: Operating systems (MS-DOS, Windows-95, 98, 2000, XP, Packages), High proficiency in Microsoft office, scientific graphics and presentations.
