Are you the person that will design the future architecture for our digitalization journey?We are happy to announce that we are now hiring a Connected Services Solution Architect to our Services & Connectivity department who has an extensive knowledge in connected devices, Internet of things and IT architecture and who is ready to take some action.What can we offer?Services & Connectivity is a department within Global Product Development, a central function responsible to bring a significant contribution to the performance of Volvo Bus.Global Product Development (GPD) takes a global responsibility for planning, developing and maintaining complete vehicles, chassis and bodies, including related services. The ultimate target is a strong competitive customer offer for selected markets, based on decided leading features, common architecture and shared technology, providing competitive strong offers to our business regions. At S&C we are responsible for new development, enhancement, operation, maintenance and support of systems and processes for billable service offerings such as Fleet Management and Vehicle Management. We are constantly evaluating new technology that can enhance the performance of our vehicles such as BI solutions and Artificial Intelligence where we see that you are a driving force. We are a growing small enthusiastic team with high ambitions to contribute to the connected future of Volvo Buses that are looking forward getting you as a new team member. Main activities and responsibilities:In the role as Connected Services Solution Architect you will be responsible for designing solutions for new connected services that will make Volvo Bus a leader in the public transportation ecosystem. You will be responsible for defining the overall architecture and distribution of the service over vehicle, cloud, mobile and third party service providers and the interaction between all parties. You will be challenged with creating a balance between new technology, already existing solutions, enterprise architecture framework, cost and timing feasibility to meet customer demands.
