At Volvo Cars, we have an Agile Organization where we develop our product features and functions continuously in Product Streams with a complete lifecycle responsibility. The three Product Streams within the unit Vehicle Software&Electronics are:

* In-Car Digital - Infotainment, Digital User Experience, Connectivity
* Base Software - Electrical and Electronics Systems
* Autonomous Drive - Active Safety and autonomous drive functions

Volvo Cars Driver Interaction & Infotainment department is now looking for a Configuration Manager to work

within our Release Management team for the in Car Digital Product Stream. The in Car Digital Product Stream

contains areas such as Infotainment, Connectivity, Telematics, Audio, Displays and Driver information.

As Configuration Manager you will be part of the product introduction team supporting the complete product

stream and coordinating the deliveries towards the vehicle programs.



We are looking for someone with great drive and a quality mindset to control the changes made to hardware,

software, firmware, documentation, test, test fixtures and test documentation throughout the life cycle of the

system.

Main responsibilities
* Providing directions for the document management
* Define baselines for the main branch and to provide the overall branching strategy towards vehicle

programs
* Coordination of technical change management

Required qualifications
* 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably as a configuration manager for larger software
* programs or similar
* BSc degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience
* Experience of working in an international environment
* Fluent in the English language both spoken and in writing
* Business and end customer value understanding
* Meritorious
* Knowledge about scaling Lean and Agile into larger development programs
* Experience of Product Development with SW and HW elements requiring a great amount of integration effort.
* Knowledge of Volvo Cars development process in general as well as the electrical development process

* Ability to independently plan, drive and follow up your work towards objectives
* Structured, accurate and skilled to summarize and present status of your work
* Strong team player and relationship builder
* Ability to show courage and build confidence

Location for this position is onsite in Gothenburg, Sweden from where we expect you are able to work with adequate working permits. Working proficiency in the English language, speech and writing, is a requirement. Combined with the same skills in the Swedish language is considered a merit.
