Unit Vehicle Hardware, within Research and Development department, includes section Strategy & Innovation, to which we belong. The section is responsible of the attributes and we are the sub group, Vehicle Hardware Attribute, which offers the chance for a CAE Engineer to support the concept development and the verification of the Mechanical Integration Attributes. We are international group and right now in the search for a new colleague.
As a Mechanical Integration Engineer, you will participate to the Concept set-up of the Ground, Wheel and Engine Clearance requirements and support the product verification.
You will support the development of the requirements considering new technologies, knowledge from previous vehicles, competitor cars and the help simulation tools for wheel suspension and full vehicle.You will be part of the virtual method development to enable the early prediction and virtual verification of Ground, Wheel and Engine Clearance Attributes.
Cross functional work will dempand from you to cooperate also in a teams with other test engineers responsible for other attributes as water and air tightness. Your work will imply as well cooperation and dialog with different groups within body and trims. On monthly bases, you will take part of testing in vehicles, which will take place in our Hällered testing ground.

Required qualifications
* B.Sc. degree in Mechanical engineering or other equivalent area with relevant experience
* Knowledge of Catia V5
* Experience from engineering, testing or CAE in Vehicle programs
* Experience in leading technical tasks, setting the targets and requirements
* Understanding of automotive simulation tools
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Driver's license "B"
Meritorious qualifications
* 2 years of automotive experience on relevant position, such as Design engineer or CAE
* Good understanding of the our products and benchmarking
* User of IT-tools like TCr, System Weaver, Lab95, VQDC, FLOW
* Knowledge of VPDS processes and Team center
* Fluent in Swedish
* Driver's license "B"

Working in early project phases includes rapid changes in prerequisites, content etc., hence you must be able to handle quick changes and enjoy new challenges with short notice, while seeing it as an opportunity.
