Our client is a market leader in browser based gaming software. The company is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden and all development is made in-house. This is a high paced, dynamic and challenging organization with great possibilities to grow and develop both personally and professionally. The office is located in the heart of Stockholm city in bright and newly renovated premises. We are looking for a CG Artist to join their graphic team.
The Job
We are looking for a 'jack of all trades'. A talented graphic designer with broad knowledge and skillset. You have a keen eye for design and a good illustrative ability. Things such as buttons and icons make you tick. You like to be creative but understand the purposes of project rules and guidelines, and you work well in a team environment. You will work with creating original game graphics/interfaces. You will work closely with the other artists and developers to produce the best possible gaming solutions. Your job is also to retain the vision set by the art director/product owner. Within the company there is generelly big room for ideas and innovation.
Experience, Attributes & Skills
At least 3 years' experience from working with graphic design.
High degree of experience from photoshop and Illustrator.
Experience from After Effects, Flash, zBrush and modelling & animation in Maya is each considered a merit, but not a must.
Good knowledge of graphics creation and animation in Flash.
Strong traditional 2D sketching and composition skills.
A holistic feel for design/art style that allows it to remain consistent throughout an interface.
Ability to adapt to different artistic styles as needed in various projects.
Fluency in English is a prerequisite and fluency in Swedish is considered a merit.
Interest in iterating and brainstorming within a team environment of various disciplines.
Self-motivation, good communication skills and a great team player attitude.
