We currently have the following job opening;
Component Software Lead - Infotainment
As responsible for an Infotainment component software, you are responsible for execution, configuration and issue management for the entire software package for the component module. You should have awareness of automotive embedded software architecture. You must have experience in automotive software release cycles and tools, such as Teamcenter. You will be responsible for the Software Requirement Document (in Elektra and/or System Weaver), leading SW joint reviews, and managing the software execution of the component. . It is very helpful to have knowledge of AutoSAR, Agile SW development methods, and Automotive-SPICE. You will work within CEVT's Infotainment & Driver Information Module Team. You will work in close cooperation with the system tester, the component owner, the Basetech team, and the software configuration and release team. You will be part of a global development team with resources in both Sweden and China.
Responsibilities and tasks
- SW responsible for Infotainment component SW. Release SW, push supplier for SW deliveries.
- Drive and develop component software requirement process, including requirement management in Elektra
- Manage Software Issues with supplier
- Define, plan and monitor all software deliverables, including documentation from supplier.
- Perform SW joint reviews at suppliers.
- Ensure supplier deliveries are communicated and that your supplier meets quality and timeliness expectations
- Work in close cooperation with architecture, Basetech, suppliers, and component project leaders.
Requirements
- Sc. Electrical or Computer Engineering, with focus on embedded systems. Preference for studies specifically targeting Embedded Systems
- At least 3-5 years of experience of automotive embedded systems or software development experience, particularly in Basetech/AutoSAR environments. Preference for experience in OEM software component lead roles, managing software requirements and specifications in systems like Elektra, supplier deliveries and releases in OEM systems, such as TeamCenter.
- Ability to take ownership and drive suppliers, even in an ambiguous environment
- Ability to drive, motivate and convince
- Persistency to pursue targets and take decisions
- Cultural awareness, especially Asian - European culture
