Your mission at Sitoo
As a Compliance Specialist at Sitoo, you will have an impactful position in a small and agile team. Together with the Compliance team, you will do everything from monitoring regulations, to collaborating with our Tech & Product department to make sure we can continue to scale globally while being compliant. If you enjoy being between Tech and Compliance, this will be the perfect opportunity for you.
What you will do
• Monitor regulations/legislation changes
• Conduct market study to elicit the legal requirements prevalent in the market for New Market Entries
• Translate legal requirements into product backlogs
• Help develop, implement and run operational processes and end-to-end controls to ensure that the product comply with laws and regulations
• Help address compliance issues as they arise, including cross-functional coordination on mitigation strategy and remediation steps.
• Facilitate audits of products and ensure compliance and certification of products in certain markets
• Work with internal collaborators to document processes, detailed legal requirements and any other documents required by the law
What you'll bring to the table
• Experience in supporting and delivering successful compliance projects
• Experience in requirement gathering and management
• Experience in documentation of processes and procedures
• Knowledge of experience working in heavily regulated software or software as a service industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
• A background in software development or testing
• Experience working in compliance of POS and other retail product
