We are looking for a legal associate to join our Risk & Compliance Team in Stockholm, Sweden. You will be assisting our Risk & Compliance Team with legal assignments such as implementing, updating and maintaining a robust risk and compliance governance framework. You will be working administrative and cross-functional with Risk & Compliance and Customer support to handle a wide range of legal tasks. Requirements
• Degree of Master of Laws with financial education or background / Work experience from Banking/Fintech minimum 6 months
• Interest for fintech and future banking technology
• Self-directed, good communicator and comfortable supporting the needs of multiple teams
• Strong legal analytical skills, detail-oriented mind and an ability to work autonomously
• Comfortable working in a fast-changing Fintech startup world
• English level: Intermediate+
Main responsibilities
• Assist Risk & Compliance and Customer Support in their day-to day operations, such as onboarding and maintaining KYC and transaction monitoring procedures and other projects and tasks as needed
• Conduct legal research in our area of law as an Electronic Money Institution, identifying legal issues across applicable statutory and regulatory schemes, correctly applying law to facts, and identifying solutions
• Draft legal research summaries and participate in work of other legal documents which are clear, concise, logically constructed, and based on thorough analysis and sound reasoning
