We are now looking for a Compliance Manager for our Stockholm-office.
The role - Compliance Manager
Within the role as Compliance Manager you will report directly to the Nordic Head of Compliance. Day to day duties will be very varied as the Nordic Compliance team manage all compliance activity in the Nordic markets. The team provides advice and consultancy on a range of compliance matters such as consumer protection and fairness, AML, data protection, are involved in new product launches and service changes as well as the implementation of new regulations. The team also run the annual compliance testing plan and manage the relationships with the local regulators.
As all of the Nordic Compliance team, the Compliance Manager work together with a multitude of other teams across the globe on many centrally managed processes and procedures.
Who are you?
We are looking for an experienced - minimum 5 years - Compliance Manager with consumer credit or payments experience from any of the Nordic markets. Local financial services regulation and legislative knowledge is required and essential. A desire to education and inform both colleagues and stakeholders to add value to the commercial business interests of American Express is also crucial for this role.
The successful candidate will have the relevant experience and an inviting, engaging and inspiring personality to fit with the rest of the Nordic Compliance team currently consisting of four compliance analysts and the Nordic Head of Compliance.
