Roles:
Support Volvo Construction Equipment'ss business strategy and objectives including compliance activities by providing timely, cost efficient, and proactive legal advice including compliance counselling and training to mitigate risk and protect Volvo Construction Equipment's interests in order to improve Volvo Construction Equipment's ability to conduct profitable operations.
Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:
Implementation of the Volvo Group's competition law , anti-corruption, export control and data privacy compliance policies by:
• Providing legal counsel and guidance on Volvo's Compliance Policies and supporting documents, applicable laws and regulations
• Collecting and reviewing business information and preparing agendas, reports, presentations, meeting minutes, guidance notes, internal articles etc.
• Administrating and performing virtual and face-to-face legal trainings
• Managing relationship with outside legal service providers
• Obtaining outside legal advice and translating it into practicable, implementable action points within the business
• Support Volvo Construction Equipment's engine emissions compliance team
• Ad hoc support and advice on various regulatory issues such as chemical legislation (e.g., REACH) and climate change legislation (e.g., F-Gases)

Skills:
• Business minded with solid legal background and at least 8 years of post-qualification experience in legal compliance
• Proven ability to work independently
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Team player with integrity, accountability, analytical ability, creative and committed
Required knowledge & experience:
Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:
• Master of law or any other degree and/or practice required for practicing law in the relevant jurisdiction with specific compliance knowledge
• At least 8 years relevant experience. Experience with competition law or a special interest in export control and data privacy is a merit
Additional Important Requirements:
• Excellent skills required in verbal and written communications in English. Extensive traveling might be required.
