What you will be a part of
Group Human Resources is responsible for strategic HR queries based on the long-term needs of the business operation.
The Global Mobility team is a part of Group HR and responsible for all aspects of Saab's Global Mobility processes and programs worldwide. The team handles a population of approximately 140 expatriates on assignment in 24 different countries at present.
As a Compliance and Global Mobility Specialist you will be working in the Global Mobility team consisting of three Global Mobility Specialists and report to the Head of Saab Career Center and Global Mobility.
Your role
In this position, you will play a key role within the organization regarding compliance and mobility queries and you will manage the assignment process for a wide population of expatriates in line with Saab's Global Mobility process as well as supporting commuters and business travelers.
As a Compliance and Global Mobility Specialist you will alert the company of risks with global movements and serve solutions for mitigating the same. You will be comfortable with addressing and supporting in legal issues such as tax, social security and labor law as well as implementing policies and procedures when establishing business in new countries. You must possess strong confidence for putting compliance first, with a pragmatic approach for risk assessment balanced with being responsive to business needs.
You will manage the whole assignment lifecycle including the preparation phase and be responsible for setting up assignment contracts including remuneration packages. You will cooperate and liaise with HR worldwide as well as third party providers.
You will also be the driving force in continuous improvements on an operational and strategic level. You will work to improve policies and procedures as well as finding cost efficient solutions for the different international assignments. You will continuously drive the work in developing the organizations understanding of Saab 's expatriate processes. This includes collaborating across all levels within the Saab Group such as, HR Business Partners, Labour Law, Group Tax, Finance and other internal functions. You will also participate in external projects with external vendors when required.
Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role you have an academic degree and several years of experience within the field of international compliance. With particular reference to tax and social security as well as within the global mobility field. You have good IT skills, excellent knowledge of Excel and the ability to prepare and process data to report on trends and common themes.
You have strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to develop effective relationships and partnerships with your stakeholders. Your skill to flourish in a team environment as well as work independently describes you well. You are solution driven using creative and diverse ways to approach a problem or answer a question. You also have experience within project management. You demonstrate confidence, credibility and good judgment.
