PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Greater CPH Journals, is a media startup from Addcomm.dk, a media and advertising company operating in Denmark since last eighteen years.

Greater CPH Journals is a startup spinned off from the project Greater CPH Post which was initiated by Cphpost.dk ApS from January 2016, which was focused on catering local and regional events and stories for expats living in Denmark and Sweden.

The basis of this position is essentially to identify targeted corporate sales opportunities and to develop sales strategies to grow our business. As a Communications and Media Manager you will be responsible for creating, nurturing and maintaining relationships with your clients in southern Sweden and eastern Denmark who are primarily investors, businesses, community managers, startup and innovative spaces, local event organizers and municipalities.

The ability to quickly and effectively build rapport with people at all levels is essential whether by phone or face to face. We want an enthusiastic self-starter who is comfortable with being measured against activity and outcomes. You need to be ambitious and hungry for success!

However, this is not just about sales - our success in the market is the ability to tailor our offering to the client to match their existing strategic business direction when applied to our advertising and media publications.

The Manager will work with the Director and management partners team to promote the work of the digital magazine, ensure coherent approach to communication activities, and develop and maintain communication with digital magazine's stakeholders. In addition to strategic work, the Manager will support the promotion of the Magazine's products and session at a variety of events.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Tasks and deliverables, to be carried out within the background described above:

1. Ensure business communications activities for publications, editorial and sales are aligned and coordinated with stakeholders team and with end users.
• Contribute to media communications planning with Greater CPH Journals activities, events and products
• Ensure team contributions to the magazine's schedule of events and this is taken up ín coordination with the top management

2. Work with Director, to define a communications plan and a package of trilingual English/Swedish/Danish promotion activities and products to communicate to the Greater Copenhagen local governments Initiative and its work in the promotion of Greater Copenhagen city.

This could include completion of a promotional video, preparation of updated brochure, banners, social media engagement plan, and similar.

2. Devise, agree and implement a communications plan and deliver selected promotion and communications actions. These could include coordination of production of promotional videos, promotional material, production of flyers, brochures, fact sheets, banners, social media engagement, writing of press releases or web articles and similar, for:
• raising awareness of Greater CPH Journals and its associated networks and projects
• raising awareness of publications, products and events produced by Greater CPH Journals

3. Provide journalistic input for forthcoming issues and events on finance and economics, social, investment, innovation and technology, cultural and creative, sports and music themes.
• conduct interview and write it up for the featured expert and people sections in the publication

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Essential: Undergraduate degree in communications or journalism
Desirable: Post-graduate degree in communications or journalism and Business Administration

Experience:
Essential:
at least 5 years' experience in communications
at least 2 years' experience working in the area communications in digital mediums and social networks

Desirable:
experience working in the media and business sectors, have good understanding of digital media technologies and communications tools.

Use of language skills:
Essential: Excellent speaker of standard English
Desirable: Good working knowledge of any of the three working languages for Greater Copenhagen: Danish, Swedish and English

Skills
Required:
• journalistic writing skills;
• experience of magazine / journal publishing
• advanced ability to express clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in written form; specific skills in writing reports, documents and editing
• using social media and multimedia in campaigns and advocacy
• knowledge and understanding of health issues especially communicating underlying evidence, information, data
• ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• You are entrepreneurial, driven and hungry to excel.
• You are flexible and work well in very dynamic and first paced environments
• You love technology and love to work in the Mobile and IT and Technology industry
• You gave good interpersonal skills, you're good at consulting people and you think out of the box when facing problems.

Desired:
• A minimum of 4-5+ years in a sales/ business partnership position in the Mobile Phone and Electronics industry.
• Outstanding communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to align and tailor your "sell" to match the client's requirements
• Previous experience in building pipelines, segmentation, overseeing tenders, reporting to sales status updates and outstanding negotiation skills

• Fixed base salary plus uncapped commission
