The JOOL Group is recruiting a text-loving Communications Associate based in our Gothenburg head office. Our inhouse marketing team is looking for a pragmatic, ambitious and service-minded wordsmith with a curious mind and high proficiency in written communication.

About the role
Your role is to produce written content in Swedish and English language for our various Group companies and brands. You will be a part of our inhouse marketing team and collaborate closely in large and small projects with the team as well as with external advertising agencies and representatives from different Group holdings.
Versatility is key
Your work will cover a broad spectrum within the copywriting and corporate communications fields. You will create, among other things, comprehensive body text for brochures and web sites, formal press releases, enticing native ads or editorial quality articles as well as inspiring social media content for multiple group companies. In addition, you have an ability to write in different styles - formal, persuasive or edgy depending on the task. Versatility and curiosity is key, as you will work with companies in many different industries ranging from wood and paper manufacturing to financial services, real estate, painting & flooring and more.

Important to your success is an eagerness to learn about our businesses, brands, services and organization in order to communicate and promote each offering in the most effective way. An essential part of the role is to do research and build relationships with representatives from Group holdings in order to bring consistency, clarity and cohesiveness to each brand or message. In addition, you need to understand the intended target audience for each communication effort.
This is you
• Excellent written & spoken native Swedish with strong command of English
• 2+ years' experience from copywriting, journalism, corporate communications or other writing profession. Agency experience is a plus, but not a necessity
• Degree in journalism / communications / business or similar relevant field
• Understanding of SEO-optimized content is a plus
• You are a self-starter and thrive in an ambitious and innovative environment
• Organized and detail oriented, with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
