ICOM produces content for IKEA.com, with more than 2,6 billion visits a year. We're also behind the IKEA catalogue with a yearly circulation of more than 200 million copies. On top of that, we churn out a ton of content for social media, not to mention motion media and 3D work so cutting edge that it makes the folks in California sit up and take notice. So what happens in Älmhult definitely doesn't stay in Älmhult. It reaches practically every corner of the globe.
Right now we're looking for a Corporate Communications Specialist , someone who want to team up with us, realize our ambitions and take the next step into the future! We need you to be so well grounded in the tools and tricks of the trade to take on the toughest target group in IKEA; an organisation filled with creatives and communicators from all over the world. You will need to embrace working with logic and structures, with an innate creativity and a desire to share. You have a natural interest in the new media landscape and enjoys writing, as well as presenting. We offer you a dynamic team environment where we bridge in-between the high level IKEA strategies to hands-on operational execution. The role is new, which means there are lots of opportunities to take initiatives and grow with the assignment.
As a Communications Specialist you will work with different teams to translate business priorities into clear, engaging communications, creating content that helps us tell stories about ICOM and how ICOM contributes to the IKEA vision. You will be responsible for:
Strengthen the ICOM brand by being part of the public dialogue and sharing how ICOM contributes to the long-term positive development of IKEA, by creating and publishing content about ICOM, business, innovation and people.
Increasing our stakeholders' understanding of how the IKEA vision and goals link to local business through story driven initiatives and internal communication.
Supporting the organization with internal communication initiatives and campaigns
Managing and creating content for our internal communications channels, such as intranet and information screens.
Project leading,planning and executing internal meeting and events.
Take an active part in updating some of our social media accounts.
Creating presentations and communications material and contributing to the ongoing improvement of our communications processes.
We think that you in this assignment have an understanding and passion for internal communication using all channels. You appreciate effective ways of working and have a flair for structure.
