For work with our customer we are looking for a Common Access Software Engineer
Assignment description
You will be working for the Quality department. The department is involved in all stages from specifying next generation solutions, through design to customisation and support.
Job description
As a member of the Common Access Software team you will work with connection and mobility management according to the Non-Access Stratum (NAS) part of the UMTS/3GPP standard. You will take part in all development steps, including analysis, design, coding, test and maintenance.
As part of the team you will also help supporting our customers in developing successful mobile phones by providing analysis support, trouble shooting and sometimes on site support.
You will work in an international environment were you will follow a function from specification through design and implementation to launch in customer products.
The job requires knowledge about embedded systems and software as well as knowledge about layer 3 3GPP protocols (GSM, GPRS, EDGE and WCDMA).
You enjoy working both independently and in a small team and you are focused on reaching result on time. As a person you must be thorough and able to work with many different people.
Required competence
We are looking for a software engineer with following competence profile:
At least 3 years experience from embedded real-time software development
Skilled C-programmer
Strong problem-solving analysis skills and very quality-conscious
Embedded software and communication protocol development
The ability to work well with other people and is outgoing and socially active in a professional context
Communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing
Master of Science in Computer Science, Electronics or equivalent
