Sourcing at Husqvarna Division is responsible for securing quality, delivery, cost efficiency and sustainability of supply within the division. The team Sourcing Common Commodities is responsible for procuring direct material that are used in many Husqvarna factories and where we find synergies to have a common ownership of the supplier base.

Our task is to ensure that the greatest value is provided to the organization 's internal customers and thereby positively affecting the overall business result. A key enabling role for achieving this is Commodity manager for Rubber & Sealings.

What we can offer
As Commodity manager for Rubber & Sealings you are part of a highly motivated team of Commodity Managers and Operational buyers. You report to the Sourcing Director Common Commodities. Your primary responsibilities are to have full commercial responsibility for the commodity Rubber & Sealings. To ensure we reach the targets for Quality, Delivery, Cost and Sustainability, today and tomorrow.

Your tasks
• Ensure we understand our company's internal needs and transform them into actions to drive as much value as possible to our company.
• Create and implement commodity strategies.
• Create, negotiate and maintain agreements with suppliers.
• Drive big and small projects within your area of responsibility. Strategy implementations, benchmarks, scouting of new opportunities, business transfers and other projects
• Ensure a reliable output from the suppliers within the area of responsibility. Quality, Delivery, Cost and Sustainability.
• Risk management. Short, mid and long term. Identify risks and drive mitigation activities.
• Strive to create internal efficiency within our sourcing team. Support and/or drive continuous improvements activities (process/method development)
• Be an openminded and active team member to use your experience and personality to support our continuous development of our team.

Your profile
To be a suitable candidate for the role, we believe you have more than 5 years' experience of working with external suppliers, technical experience of mechanical parts and at least Bachelor degree or a track record of solid experience in the field of rubber business. Good language skills in both Swedish and English are also required.

You are a confident person with high integrity, you have an analytical talent and your work style is both collaborative and convincing in a humble way.
