Strategic Sourcing has the full responsibility for all sourcing activities of Electro mechanics; Electronic parts, Mechanics and Software for PBU GSM/UMTS. This includes setting the strategy for all involved commodities, optimizing the supplier base, selecting suppliers for all new projects and supporting R&D in all DU:s with sourcing activities.
Now we are looking for a commodity lead SQE with great Imaging process know-how!
Description of duties:
You will be responsible for Quality Assurance (QA) of new components to SonyEricsson mobile phones. You will conduct specification reviews with R&D and suppliers, make supplier evaluations and process verification of supplier manufacturing processes. Furthermore you are responsible for securing of capacity, participating & helping factories with imaging related Quality questions. In this role you need to cooperate with suppliers and R&D to solve market related issues. Have the capacity to be proactive and reactive in several projects at the same time. Take care and drive a Camera SQE team globally.
Qualifications:
• Master of Science in Engineering.
• At least 15 years know how and knowledge in the area quality assurance (QA).
• Ability to take initiative and being proactive
• Good communication skills in the English language, both verbal and written.
• Proven leadership skills are required
• Proven experience driving performance and make things happen
