hela Sverige Do you have the technical expertise and customer focus that our Force Measurement team in Västerås is looking for? Part of ABB's Measurement & Analytics business unit, and the group's Industrial Automation division, we develop, manufacture, and market industrial measurement and control products for force and dimension applications. We currently have a vacancy for an ambitious, customer-focused Commissioning Engineer who will work closely with customers and other ABB businesses worldwide. While this position is based in Västerås, applicants should note that it does involve a degree of travel: our global market place will be your office.
Our unit is experiencing robust growth and strong profitability, and we anticipate continued expansion. With a staff of some 170, we work with advanced industrial measuring technologies on the global market. Our team that focuses on customer service, support and product life cycle numbers around 20.
In this stimulating role, your responsibilities will centre on providing on-site commissioning to ensure optimal implementation of systems that our customers have invested in. Tasks will include: providing technical support for local sales units and customers that already use our products, and other commissioning engineers working at customer sites; on-site commissioning and service support; training of customers and other commissioning engineers.
You are strongly customer focused, driven, persistent, and flexible. Furthermore, you are skilled at proposing solutions having analyzed challenges; you are also inquisitive, and keen to find new information and new ways of doing things.
We are looking for someone with experience as a service technician or a commissioning engineer. A proven track record in the process industry sector, rolling and paper mills or similar will be advantageous. You have a technical qualification, or equivalent professional experience. Fluency in written and spoken English and Swedish is required.
