It's springtime; you're trying your best to enjoy the cold northern weather when you suddenly get a phone call from your best friends. It gets to your doorstep in only 45 minutes. So, you pack all your favourite sunglasses and your sunscreen, and get to the autonomous, eco-friendly train that is going to take you to your destination. All this thanks to autonomous solutions that is becoming the norm!

Let us tell you a little about who we are:
Volvo Autonomous Solutions (V.A.S) is an entity within the Volvo Group with the mission to offer transport solutions never seen before. Together we will work on autonomous solutions that will challenge conventions and take us to the future. With entirely new business models and advanced technology we will meet and exceed expectations from customers and contributing to a society that we want to live in. There's about 250 of us and together we form a team that is stronger than the sum of its parts and is ready to tackle the big challenges we have ahead of us.
Our current mission is to employ our newest member of the team. In other words, we are looking for you, our new Commercial Project Manager!
What will you be doing?
As our Commercial Project Manager, you will lead the implementation, installation and integration of our autonomous solutions at a customer site aiming at delivering unique customer experiences within the automation area. In other words, you will:
Lead the autonomous transport solution implementations at our customer sites.
Work close together with the Solution Sales and Technology functions within Volvo Autonomous Solutions as well as other Volvo Group entities to implement a tailor-made solution.
Lead cross-functional teams (e.g. from Legal, Purchasing) from conceptualization to full commercial offering.
Manage required stakeholders (internal or external) at each stage of the implementation project.
Translate customer needs into business requirements as input to the implementation project.
Define or/and improve the solution building blocks to facilitate implementations in other regions.
Evaluate and validate customer desirability and business viability for new offerings and solutions.
Who are you?
In this role, you will have plenty of different activities going on and therefore you need strong project management skills with a high customer focus and a ''can do'' mindset and solutions/service development skills. As you will communicate globally across all levels of the organization, you need to have excellent interpersonal skills combined with a positive attitude and analytical skills. Naturally, you also have an ability to visualize concepts and ideas as we are breaking new ground within the transport area.
We also believe you have:
Bachelor and/or master's degree in commercial or technical area
Experience in leading and driving projects
Understanding of the international transport industry
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
