• Assist the Commercial Manager Scandinavia
• Assist with the preparation & coordination of RFP and Tender responses for Scandinavia
• Provide assistance in the organisation, development and roll out of the sales and customer visit/activity plan for new and existing customers
• Administration on contracts, proposals and sales calls
• Communicate at various levels with airlines
• Liaising with colleagues in other departments
• Monitoring the Ground Handling market on regular basis (benchmarking)
• Preparation of power point presentations, sales letters, RFP response letters, marketing material etc.
• Check and verify that rates and charges are correctly uploaded in accounting and CRM systems
• Assist with implementation when adding a new airline to a station
• Assist with any departmental tasks and opportunities, which may arise on an adhoc basis
• Undertake other reasonable duties, as and when deemed necessary by your manager
Job purpose and objectives
The Commercial Department in Scandinavia, based at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport, is looking for an entry-level staff member who can assist the Commercial Manager for Scandinavia and help to keep the day-to-day commercial activities and projects forward as planned. Tasks range from assisting with the preparation and bidding process for RFP's/Tenders to marketing support, preparation and creation of presentations, administrational duties, assist with special projects and follow-up on enquiries from our customers. This position reports direct to the Commercial Manager Scandinavia.
The applicant for this position must have good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Know-how of CRM systems is desirable. However the candidate must possess effective written and verbal communication skills with a touch of creativity. An eye for detail is essential.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of commercial or sales experience, preferred within the ground handling business or commercial airline industry
• Bachelor degree
• Previous experience of drafting of contracts preferred
• Strong and effective communications skills
• Fluency in English
• Good knowledge of Swedish preferred
• Self-motivated, disciplined, with a flexible attitude to working hours
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of CRM systems preferred
• Effective organizational skills
• The ability to travel abroad
• Permission to work in Sweden (work permit)
