We constantly need to be challenged and are always interested in connecting with dedicated creative souls. Currently we are searching for a CMF Designer.
Job Description
You will be part of creating and delivering design proposals according to design vision/brief and project prerequisites at our client's design studio in Gothenburg. With guidance from Chief/ Senior Designer you will produce creative and detailed design solutions fulfilling technical criteria working in close collaboration with other design disciplines and the CMF Chief Designer. Develop CMF concepts, which are translated into physical solutions and prototypes in cooperation with CMF Chief /Specialists and our client's in-house trim shop. Learn and create Colour, Material, Finish definition documents and safeguard CMF releases linked to design gateways. Prepare presentations and showcase materials for design reviews. Main focus is to be able to visualize concepts digitally (in Photoshop, VRED, VR), with support from our client's visualization team.
Attend in project and engineering meetings, representing CMF alongside Chief / Senior Designer. Work closely and interact with both internal as well external stakeholders.
Assist the Chief/ Senior Designer in preparing for meetings with Marketing and Project teams abroad.
Profile
We are looking for a motivated CMF designer professionally educated within CMF design and with focus providing services within the field of Transportation Design. An advantage would also be if you have experiences from other fields such as interior architectural design and/or fashion design as well as awareness of the manufacturing process. Your creativity and "get things done" attitude goes without saying and you have the ability to motivate, take responsibility and deliver both on product and process in a global environment.
Requirements
Minimum bachelor's degree within Industrial Design, Transportation Design or Fine Arts.
Minimum 6 months internship experience within the CMF team in an Automotive company.
Good understanding of the design process and methodology as well CMF development.
Fluent in English. Knowledge in Mandarin is an advantage.
Strong communicator with good presentation skills, both verbally and visually.
Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite & VRED with ability to visualize and communicate ideas effectively in 2D and 3D. Other software like Substance or Key Shot as well as Alias, Rhino Grasshopper is also valuable

Occasional travels may be required for this role
We expect the candidate to be located in Gothenburg area, Sweden
