The PEX Supervisor is assisting in imbedding the process excellence mindset in the country/cluster organization. Through usage of the MAERSK Improvement System, the PEX supervisor must strive to drive improvement throughout the country/cluster organization. The responsibility will be handled in close cooperation with the Regional Process Excellence function.
Essential job tasks
To assist in driving alignment within the organization, proposing and leading the necessary changes within the country cluster, ensuring compliance to global processes and applying the appropriate governance model to local process variants
To help inject process excellence in the country organization
To support the Cluster with process improvement and project management following the MAERSK Improvement System
To facilitate workshops
To provide support to the global Charter Roadmap Roll Out
To facilitate and execute mapping of cluster processes
Objectives of the position
Assist in maintaining an updated view of country cluster process variants and supporting IT, thereby trying to eliminate these through process change and/or change requests to global applications
Support the sharing of good practice across our global organisation, thus making sure that we continuously improve our global processes
Assist in driving awareness, understanding, positive perception and application of the PEX concept and tools within the country cluster and globally as part of the global PEX team
Learning opportunities
To gain great insights into the Maersk Line processes as well as exposure to many parts of our global organisation
To become part of the key process to continuously improve the quality produced by Maersk Line in the years to come
To be part of shaping the future process landscape for Maersk Line
Generic Characteristics
The ideal candidate will be a person who has an outgoing and convincing personality; a person with a sense of urgency and result orientation, who can communicate and persuade the external stakeholders into the proper course of action.
The candidate must be a self-starter, act proactively and independently and be able to take responsibility of own tasks and Key Performance Indicators.
Broad experience with Lean or Six-sigma would be preferred.
Language needed in position:
Scandinavian languages and fluent English
